Once it used to be anatural history museum housing important speciments of Earth and artifacts of human history, until in March 2003 the Orbs transferred every significant artifact to Mother Planet and it remained abandoned. Harvey Osborne and Anna Osborne had a key to its side door in their home, and also had 13 keycards that operate the internal doors of the Museum; the Underground got access into it.

It has 4 floors and the topmost was blocked by a heavy wooden door, guarded by a domesticated mutant monster, trained to open the door to anyone having the Medallion (and kill anyone else). Beyond the door is a room they used for their operations.

Day 1[]

Anna Osborne dropped 12 keycards around the sewer system beneath Prospect Park in order to throw off any potential pursuers in case something goes wrong in the Museum. She kept only one final card on her person, just in case something should happen to her.

They were gathered by the Manhunter.

Day 2[]

Museum Explosion

Having stolen a maintenance robot from Grand Central Terminal, Harvey Osborne and another Underground member carried it to their secret room. There, he attempted to extract the module B contained within, only to be killed when the robot’s explosive internal anti-tampering device detonated.

The Manhunter followed Anna to the Wretched Excess NightClub where she was hiding in the crowd. She knocked him over with her bag, accidentally dropping the single and 13th keycard she has retained. The Manhunter also found the key in a bag in the Osborne home.

The Manhunter then followed the traces, and after opening the side door, he made his way to the top floor using the 13 keycards. There he gained the monster's trust which opened the wooden door for him. There, he found the body, as well as a schematic showing the radio where Harry Jones hid the module C in his residence.
