Dave Murry (David Murry) is a technical director, designer, programmer, artist, and co-founder of Evryware, the main developer of the Manhunter series.
Early Life[]
Dave Murry was born to Richard and Erma Murry at Chehalis, Lewis County, Washington.
Career[]
Dave Murry and Joe Gargiulo founded Evryware in 1980, with Dave's brother Barry Murry joining the company soon after. They began developing games CPM home computers before moving on to the IBM PC. Dave created Sierra Championship Boxing in 1985, and he also designed the first two Ancient Art of War strategy games for Broaderbund in 1984 and 1987.
The darkly themed Manhunter: New York was published by Sierra On-Line in 1988, with Manhunter 2: San Francisco following up soon after in mid 1989.
