Joe Gargiulo is the co-founder of Evryware. He was also the game designer, programmer, and manual writer for The Ancient Art of War in the Skies. He currently lives in Sarasota, Florida, where he is the owner of Pinewood Pro, a Pinewood Derby racing business that he founded in Feburary 1999.
Early Life[]
Joe Gargiulo attended Central Connecticut State University 1975, where he got involved with inter mural wrestling and hockey. He then went to Botston University in 1976, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering in 1979.
Career[]
Dave Murry and Joe Gargiulo founded Evryware in 1980, with Dave's brother Barry Murry joining the company soon after. They began developing applications and games for CP/M home computers such as Evrydiet: A Diet and Nutrition Guide before moving on to the IBM PC. His biggest contribution was The Ancient Art of War in the Skies in 1992.
He then left gaming to attend Sacred Heart Univerity in 1995, where he won first place at the CT State MBA Business Plan competition and later earned his MBA Marketing in 2000.
