Maintenance robots are robots of Orb technology used for maintenance and repair tasks around the installations of the Orb Alliance. Such robots operate with a purple Module B. For security reasons they are equiped with an explosive device and self-destruct mechanism in case of tampering and sabotage.
The New York Underground sought to steal Modules; Anna, Harvey Osborne and another Underground member abducted a robot from the Grand Central Terminal. After the theft, an X6T-999 Repair Robot fixed the metal shutter that Harvey bent with his crowbar.

The stolen robot was carried to a secret room in the American Museum of Natural History but when the rebel attempted to extract the Module, he was killed when the robot’s explosive internal anti-tampering device detonated.
