The modules are cartridges of Orb technology that operate robots and Orb ships.
The Underground of New York did several operations to obtain modules in order to hijack a ship.
- Module A (green)
- Anna Osborne used the cache of Trinity Church to hide the Module there. It was later recovered by the Manhunter.
- Module B (purple)
- Anna, Harvey Osborne and another Underground member stole a maintenance robot to use its module. There, he attempted to extract it, only to be killed when the robot’s explosive internal anti-tampering device detonated.
- Module C (blue)
- Harry Jones had managed to obtain this module and hid his in his Evryware Stereo X-1000 radio in his residence. The hidden location was seen on a schematic in an office in the American Museum of Natural History.
- Module D (orange)
- Anna attempted to steal it from Bellevue Hospital but was unable to proceed. The Manhunter rearranged the security orders, and reached a room where an Orb and a couple of robots rendered human corpses into food. As soon as the room emptied, he stole a module from the console.
Having collected the four modules, the Manhunter stole and activated an Orb ship from the Station.
