They are blue and spherical, with mechanical legs for landing. A red band runs along the sphere's equator. They have defense systems but also have around 4 bombs. They need 4 different modules to operate. Once the modules are loaded, the cn switch seems to give energy.
The Orbs's fleet
It was with those ships with which the Orbs attacked and conquered New York in 2002. Thereafter they used the Grand Central Terminal as hangar for their fleet, for repairs and supplies. The Underground, knowing about the Orbs's sinister operations, planned to steal modules and hijack a ship in order to destroy the Statue of Liberty.
The Manhunter obtained 4 modules and broke into the Terminal, hijacking a ship, which flew through underground tunnels before emerging from under Prospect Park. Phil Cook learned it and left with his own ship to intercept him with aggressive aerial maneuvers, however the Manhunter managed to destroy with the ship's bombs the four Orb centers: Alpha, Beta, Gamma (including their entire fleet) and Delta.
Phil approached a throng of grateful New York citizens who glorified the Manhunter and vaporized all of them. As he sped off, the Manhunter reentered his ship and followed him all the way to San Francisco. The Manhunter failed to turn and clipped a building near the Golden Gate bridge. As his ship crashed into the street killing Peter Brown, while Cool and flew off to land at the Ferry Building.
With the Orbs's operations in the city foiled, Cook he returned to the Building to flee on his ship; right then the Manhunter arrived from the underground using the Freedom drill machine, and ran after him.
